Online Therapy in Spain: Bilingual Sessions with Talí Uribe

Therapy From Wherever You Are in Spain

Not everyone who needs an English-speaking therapist in Spain lives in Valencia or Madrid. Expats and internationals are spread across the country: Barcelona, Seville, Málaga, the Costa Blanca, the Balearics, rural Andalusia, small towns in Catalonia or Aragón. In most of these places, finding a therapist who works in English and understands the expat experience is close to impossible.

Online therapy removes that barrier. Talí Uribe offers bilingual sessions via secure video for anyone in Spain, regardless of where they are based. The same approaches, the same depth of work, and the same quality of care as in-person sessions, without the need to be in Valencia or Madrid. Many of my online clients are expats living across Spain who need flexible scheduling and a therapist who understands their experience.

If you travel frequently, work remotely, or simply prefer the convenience of not commuting to a session, online therapy is also a practical choice even if you do live in one of those cities.

Who Online Therapy Is For

Online sessions with Talí are particularly well suited for the following situations.

Expats living outside Valencia or Madrid who need therapy in English and cannot find a suitable therapist locally. This covers most of Spain outside the two main cities and the larger expat hubs.

Remote workers and digital nomads who move between locations and need a therapist they can see consistently, regardless of where they happen to be that week. Continuity matters in therapy, and online removes the logistical obstacle to it.

People in cities with limited English-speaking options, where the choice of bilingual therapist is either very small or non-existent. Online therapy opens the full range of available practitioners, not just those within commuting distance.

Anyone who prefers the privacy and comfort of their own space for therapy. Many people find that working from home, without the transition of travel, allows them to be more open and present in sessions.

International clients based outside Spain who are looking for a Spanish or bilingual therapist with expertise in expat experience, IFS, or logotherapy.

English Speaking Therapist in Spain: Available Nationwide

Finding an English speaking therapist in Spain outside Madrid or Barcelona is genuinely difficult. Online therapy removes that barrier entirely. Whether you are in Valencia, Malaga, Alicante, Seville, or a smaller city or town, you can access sessions in English without compromising on the quality or depth of the therapeutic work. I work with clients across Spain and internationally, and the sessions follow the same structure and approach as in-person work.

Expat Mental Health: Why Online Therapy Works

Expat mental health has specific characteristics that make online therapy particularly well suited to it. Many expats travel frequently, move between cities, or live in locations where English speaking therapists are hard to find. Online sessions offer consistency regardless of where you are. They also offer privacy – in small expat communities, seeing a therapist in person can feel less confidential than it would at home. Many of my clients find that the continuity of working with the same therapist over time, regardless of their location, is itself therapeutic.

What I Help With Online

Online sessions cover the same issues and use the same approaches as in-person work. There is no reduced version of the therapy for online clients.

Anxiety and the patterns underneath it, including the parts of you that stay on high alert even when there is nothing obviously wrong. [Link to IFS therapy page]

Burnout that has become a question of meaning and direction, not just a need for rest. [Link to logotherapy page]

Narcissistic abuse recovery, including rebuilding your sense of self, your ability to trust your own perception, and your confidence in relationships. [Link to narcissistic abuse recovery page]

Existential crisis and loss of purpose, including the specific kind that follows a major relocation, a career collapse, or the end of a long relationship.

Expat transitions and everything that comes with them: identity disruption, loneliness, relationship strain, career loss, and the question of whether you belong here at all. [Link to therapy for expats page]

How Online Sessions Work

Sessions are conducted via secure video platform. You will need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space where you can speak freely.

Sessions run for 60 minutes. Scheduling is flexible and can accommodate different time zones, which is particularly useful for clients outside Spain or those who travel across time zones regularly.

Languages: English and Spanish. Switching between both in the same session is welcome.

To ask about availability, fees, or to book a first online session, use the contact page. The first session is used to understand what you are dealing with and whether working together feels like the right fit.

Can I do therapy online in Spain?

Yes, online therapy is widely available in Spain and is particularly valuable for English-speaking expats who may not have access to suitable therapists in their local area. Sessions are conducted via secure video platforms and are just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns, including anxiety, burnout, and relationship difficulties.
